A separate Department of Agricultural Economics came into existence in 1964 as a part of Faculty of Agriculture. In 2001 the name of the Department has been changed to the Department of Agricultural Economics and management. The master level degree programme was started in the year 1964 and Ph.D. programme was stared in the year 1972. The Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, Sponsored Scheme i.e. Comprehensive Scheme of Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in Rajasthan is running in the Department since 1970. |
